Nugent joins Concept Systems, Inc.
Concept Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Staci Nugent to our senior leadership team. Ms. Nugent joins the team as Director of Finance and Administration.
Ms. Nugent’s role as Director of Finance and Administration includes financial, human resources, and contract management, as well as supporting vendor/contractor relationships and overseeing company compliance and administration. In this critical leadership role, she will help to ensure the efficient operation of Concept Systems.
After earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences at Cornell University, Ms. Nugent attended graduate school at Stanford University, completing a master’s degree in genetics. After working in the biotech industry in the Bay Area in the field of DNA microarrays, she completed a second master’s degree in Viticulture & Enology from the University of California at Davis. In the years that followed, she found success in two careers – genetics research and winemaking. She then transferred the skills that she honed in these careers – analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic planning – to the fields of finance and business management.
